Monday, September 22nd - First Meeting of the Year
I hope you're all planning to attend the first meeting of the Lincoln Sewing Guild for the fall season. We meet at 7pm, 1/2 hour earlier than usual, so we'll have time to chat and greet friends we haven't seen over the summer. We also have dessert. The rest of our meetings are food-free, since there are often lots of textile items to touch, examine, and admire.
Our program will be:
“Internet Connections” for garment design, fitting and construction by Liana Sandin.
We will explore some of the many varied resources available on-line to help us with different aspects of our sewing and design projects. From patterns, fabric and runway show videos to technique tutorials and personal fitting help through photos, we'll see what's out there. It can change your sewing outlook to find others who share your particular interests, and you may hear ideas that you never thought of, but that are perfect for you. Join us!
