Yes, our next meeting should prove to be both interesting and exciting, as Diane Gloystein, Founding Member of our Guild and Sulky Educator, returns to show us how she created Caribbean Sunset, her ensemble now touring with the 2008 Bernina Fashion Show, often called The Olympics of Wearable Art. She was among those receiving a coveted invitation to contribute an entry to the juried competition and showcase. Those of us who know her and her work are hardly surprised.She will show us the portfolio she created while designing her entry, and discuss the techniques used, as well as noting the challenges along the way. All in all, it should be a great evening. We'll see you there, Monday, April 27, 7pm at Sew Creative's new classroom.
